Participants in the Capacity Building Academy will attend monthly sustainability planning workshops from January through August 2018. Organizations are asked to assessable a team of 1 to 5 participants who will participate in the Academy. Not all team members need to attend each session. Rather, you may want your board treasurer or bookkeeper/accountant to attend the sessions on strategic financing and have staff attend sessions on vision and desired results. Workshops will take place at First 5 San Bernardino on the third Thursday of each month from 9 am to 3 pm. Dates include January 18, February 22, March 22, April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19 and August 16, 2018.
Graduates completing the Academy will complete a sustainability plan and make a presentation to a funders panel at the October 2019 THRIVE conference. Graduates of the Academy are eligible to participate in the IECC.
