SUMMARY:Wellness Together: Building Resilience in California’s Nonprofit Community
DESCRIPTION:Burnout. Fatigue. Isolation. Just simply tired. These words echo across so many conversations had with grantee partners as the Community Engagement and Strategic Partnerships Officer at Cal Wellness. \nThe work of advancing health and racial equity can be exhausting\, even more so in times like these as California copes with devastating wildfires and nonprofit leaders face the stress of a changing political environment. \nThat’s why The California Wellness Foundation is launching Wellness Together\, an event series supporting the well-being of anyone working to advance health and social justice in California\, whether you work at a nonprofit organization or do community-building work. \nWellness Together will offer four virtual sessions featuring wellness practitioners who will provide coaching\, tools and guided practices like meditation and breathwork. Additionally\, they will host in-person events in Los Angeles and Oakland specifically their grantee partners. \nThe sessions will be led by Our Own\, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit focused on dismantling barriers to racial injustice through mental and physical health\, nutrition\, education and entrepreneurship. \n\nSession 1: February 20\, 2025 – Non Profit Fatigue\, How To Avoid Burnout.\nSession 2: May 22\, 2025 – Empowering Your Team To Mental Acuity\nSession 3: July 31\, 2025 – Wellness Your Way\nSession 4: August 28\, 2025 – Movement & Healing Together\n\nLEARN MORE >>>

SUMMARY:IECF's 2025 Policy & Philanthropy Summit: Common Ground for the Common Good
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the IECF Policy & Philanthropy Summit builds upon the momentum of previous gatherings\, fostering a space to reconvene\, assess progress\, and chart new paths forward. As we approach the 2025 summit\, we continue this tradition of collective reflection and action\, aiming to deepen our impact and strengthen the bonds that drive regional resilience. \nThis year\, community leaders\, policymakers\, nonprofits\, and philanthropists are coming together for two days of real conversations about what it takes to bridge divides and create lasting change in the Inland Empire. Through panel discussions\, hands-on workshops\, and open dialogue\, we’ll explore the challenges—and the opportunities—that shape our region. \nIn a time when differences often seem to overshadow common goals\, this summit is about finding shared purpose amid complexity. It’s a space to listen\, learn\, and work toward solutions that reflect the diverse voices of our communities. \nThe goal is simple: find common ground and use it as a foundation to build stronger\, more connected communities. We’ll move from ideas to action\, tackling real issues with real solutions\, and ensuring progress reaches every corner of our region. \nWe need your voice in the room. The Summit will be held August 6-7\, 2025 at the Riverside Convention Center. \nPURCHASE YOUR TICKETS HERE >>>
