SUMMARY:Treating Neurodivergent Clients in the Mental Health Setting
DESCRIPTION:This training centers equity and inclusion by supporting mental health providers in strengthening care for neurodivergent clients across clinical settings. Grounded in the social model of disability\, the session examines how systemic barriers and gaps in access impact neurodivergent individuals within the mental health system. Participants will engage in critical conversations around competency\, ethics\, and ableism; build skills to recognize neurodivergent traits in both diagnosed and undiagnosed clients; and develop practical\, adaptable strategies to support diverse therapeutic needs. The training also emphasizes trauma‑informed\, client‑centered approaches for responding to meltdowns and shutdowns\, while connecting participants to resources that support continued learning and more equitable mental health practices.\n\nRegister Here >>>

SUMMARY:Create Together
DESCRIPTION:This is a monthly group that is meant to inspire creativity. It isn’t like a class where you turn in assignments. Participants get out of it what they are able to put in. The class will meet\, we will say “Hello”\, depending on the size we might mention what we are going to create or work on\, then we will spend 40 minutes or so working. Participants can have their cameras on or off. In the last 15-20 minutes we can share what we’ve done or not. There’s no right or wrong. This is all very person-centered and focused on respecting the individual needs of all participants. \nREGISTER HERE >>>

SUMMARY:IECF's 2025 Policy & Philanthropy Summit: Common Ground for the Common Good
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the IECF Policy & Philanthropy Summit builds upon the momentum of previous gatherings\, fostering a space to reconvene\, assess progress\, and chart new paths forward. As we approach the 2025 summit\, we continue this tradition of collective reflection and action\, aiming to deepen our impact and strengthen the bonds that drive regional resilience. \nThis year\, community leaders\, policymakers\, nonprofits\, and philanthropists are coming together for two days of real conversations about what it takes to bridge divides and create lasting change in the Inland Empire. Through panel discussions\, hands-on workshops\, and open dialogue\, we’ll explore the challenges—and the opportunities—that shape our region. \nIn a time when differences often seem to overshadow common goals\, this summit is about finding shared purpose amid complexity. It’s a space to listen\, learn\, and work toward solutions that reflect the diverse voices of our communities. \nThe goal is simple: find common ground and use it as a foundation to build stronger\, more connected communities. We’ll move from ideas to action\, tackling real issues with real solutions\, and ensuring progress reaches every corner of our region. \nWe need your voice in the room. The Summit will be held August 6-7\, 2025 at the Riverside Convention Center. \nPURCHASE YOUR TICKETS HERE >>>
