IECC and Partner Organizations in the Inland Empire Receive $600,000 Grant for Public Awareness and Community Outreach Campaign Services
Funds will amplify community voices and drive impactful outreach efforts in the IE
San Bernardino, CA – The Inland Empire Community Collaborative (IECC) alongside six non-profit organizations: Motivating Action Leadership Opportunity (MALO), Sahaba Initiative, Inland Empire Immigrant Youth Collective (IEYIC), Mom and Dad Project, Autism Society Inland Empire, and A Coming of Age (ACOA), are pleased to announce the acquisition of a significant grant of $600,000 from the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC). Organizations will utilize the grant to fortify efforts in delivering crucial information to hard-to-reach populations across the region.
IECC and its partners will actively focus on empowering trusted messengers, addressing misinformation, and enhancing community engagement. The organizations are committed to creating a regional and statewide outreach and communications infrastructure to ensure messages are accurate, culturally appropriate, and accessible to all.
This important funding, obtained through the Governor’s OCPSC Trusted Messenger grant, is a significant achievement for IECC’s commitment to helping the communities of the Inland Empire region while highlighting IECC’s strong partnerships with esteemed nonprofit organizations.

The Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) manages the State’s highest priority community engagement and public awareness efforts including COVID-19 vaccines and climate justice: water conservation and extreme heat. The Office works with the respective agencies and departments to help inform campaign efforts and supports greater coordination and collaboration within state government.
The Office recognizes the vital role community partners play in helping to address the State’s most critical issues.
