Each month IECC provides an extensive list of new grant opportunities to benefit nonprofits in the Inland Empire. The Grant Bulletin Search includes Federal, State, Local, Corporate, and Private Foundation grants. Grants are updated on a monthly basis. Please see funding organization for more details on grant funding opportunities. You may search using the criteria provided below.

How to Use the Grant Bulletin Filters to Find What You Need
The Grant Bulletin search tool makes it easy to find funding opportunities that match your organization’s goals. Whether you’re looking for active grants, specific funders, or upcoming deadlines, the filter bar helps you zero in on exactly what matters. Here’s how to use each filter:
🟢 Status
- What it does: Lets you choose between Active grants (currently accepting applications) or Closed ones (for reference or reporting).
- Tip: Start with “Active” to focus on opportunities you can still apply for.
🔁 Occurrence
- What it does: Helps you filter by how often the grant occurs—One-time, Annual, Rolling, etc.
- Tip: If you’re planning long-term, look for recurring grants like “Annual” or “Rolling.”
🗂️ Category
- What it does: Filters grants by focus area—like Education, Health, Arts, or Youth Services.
- Tip: Select the category that best aligns with your program or mission. You can leave it as “All” to see everything.
💰 Funding Source
- What it does: Filters the origin of the funds—Federal, State and Local, Private Foundations, or Corporate.
- Tip: If your organization prefers certain types of funders (e.g., Private Foundation Grants), this is a great way to narrow your search.
🏛️ Funder
- What it does: Lets you filter grants by a specific funder, like the California Endowment or the IEHP Foundation.
- Tip: Use this if you already know who you want to apply to or want to see what a particular funder is offering.
- Note: All funders associated with the grant bulletin are listed and may show zero (0) results if there are currently no grants being offered by the funder.
📅 Close Date
- What it does: Filters grants by their application deadline.
- Tip: Use this to prioritize grants that are closing soon, so you don’t miss out!
🧠 Pro Tips for Smarter Searching
Don’t forget to clear your filters between searches to start fresh
You can combine multiple filters to get highly specific results. For example, filter by Active + Education + Private Foundation to find current education grants from private sources.
If you’re just exploring, leave most filters set to “All” and browse freely.
How to View Full Grant Details
Once you’ve filtered your search and found a grant that looks promising, it’s time to dive deeper and learn all the specifics. Here’s how to do that:
Step-by-Step: Viewing Grant Details
- Scan the List
You’ll see a list of grant opportunities organized by columns like Occurrence, Title, Funder, and Short Description. Take a moment to read through and find one that fits your needs. - Sort the Table (Optional)
Want to organize the list differently? Just click on any column header to sort the table by that category.- By default, the list is sorted by Title.
- You can also sort by Close Date to prioritize upcoming deadlines, or by Funder if you’re looking for a specific organization.
- Select the Grant
Click anywhere on the row of the grant you’re interested in. This highlights the grant and activates the next step. - Click “View Grant Detail”
Once a grant is selected, the large “View Grant Detail” button to the right of the list will become active and turn blue.- Click it to open a full page with all the important information: eligibility details, deadlines, funding amounts, grant application links and more.
What You’ll Find on the Grant Details Page
Once you’ve clicked “View Grant Detail,” you’ll land on a page packed with everything you need to decide whether a grant is a good fit for your organization. Here’s a breakdown of what’s included:
🟢 Status
- Shows whether the grant is currently Active or Closed.
- Helps you quickly confirm if the opportunity is still open for applications.
📅 Key Dates
- Due Date: The final deadline to submit your application.
🏛️ Funder Information
- Lists the Funding Source and Funder Name so you know who’s behind the opportunity.
- Often includes a “Link to Grant” button that takes you directly to the funder’s official page or application portal.
✏️ Grant Descriptions
- Short Description: A quick summary of what the grant supports.
- Full Grant Description: A detailed overview of the grant’s purpose, eligibility, geographic focus, funding priorities, and any special themes (e.g., leadership, infrastructure, equity).
🧭 Categories
- Tags that show the grant’s focus areas—like Community Development, Arts and Humanities, Basic Needs, or BIPOC-focused initiatives.
- These help you match the grant to your organization’s mission and programs.
