Each month IECC provides a comprehensive list of new grant opportunities to benefit nonprofits in the Inland Empire. The Grant Opportunity Bulletin includes: Federal, State, Local, Corporate, and Private Foundation grants. Grants are updated on a monthly basis.

Inland Empire COVID Response
On November 30, 2020 Governor Gavin Newsom announced a new $500 million program, the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program, to provide grants of up to $25,000 to small businesses and nonprofits in California.
Nonprofits in either 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) categories with yearly gross revenues of $2.5 million or less will be eligible for a grant through the new program. Nonprofits in all fields of work are eligible with arts and cultural institutions explicitly included.
The Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF) and the UC Riverside Center for Social Innovation (CSI) have compiled a list of funding resources available for Inland Empire Nonprofits.

California Congressional Offices
Your local elected officials often have resources on grants for business and nonprofits. The Office of Congressman Pete Aguilar also provides guidance and key resources to help eligible grant-seekers find information on federal grants, loans, and non-financial assistance for projects, as well as on private funding. They even have staff ready to help if you have questions about federal grant applications!
California Grants Portal
The California Grants Portal is a free resources managed and hosted by the California State Library. The Grant Information Act of 2018 (Stats. 2018, Ch. 318) required the State Library to build one website “that provides a centralized location … to find state grant opportunities.”
There are over 100 available grants totaling nearly $17.9 billion dollars with more uploaded periodically.
Candid
Candid provides trusted information, data-driven tools, research, analysis, best practices, and trainings to help the social sector increase its ability to affect change and transform lives. Through their work they have developed a handy guide for finding grants and other funding opportunities for nonprofits with their Foundation Directory grant search tool and quickly put together a list of COVID-19 relief funds servicing nonprofit organizations.
They also have verified informational insights on over 1.8 million IRS-recognized tax-exempt organizations, and thousands of faith-based nonprofits through their GuideStar nonprofit profiles. Here you can look up almost any data about a nonprofit or even give insights about your own organization.
San Bernardino County
The Economic Development Department is working to provide businesses with up-to-date information on resources available to business and nonprofits. Their COVID-19 aid website will help connect you with available local, state and federal resources. Check back frequently see new funding announcements.
US Small Business Administration (SBA)
The U.S. Small Business Administration helps Americans start, build, and grow businesses.
The SBA was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
The SBA offers several funding programs including loans, investment capital, disaster assistance, security bonds, and grants for businesses and nonprofits.
