In this one-hour workshop, we’ll cover best practices for hiring, including strategies to advance diversity goals in a lawful and effective way, as well as recent legal developments regarding driver’s license requirements for applicants.
It will also be discussed key considerations for employee separations, whether voluntary or involuntary, including the differences between at-will and for-cause employment, strategies to reduce the risk of wrongful termination claims, and the pros and cons of severance agreements. This session is designed for nonprofit leaders, HR professionals, and anyone involved in employment decisions who wants to stay informed and proactive in their approach.
