Building Future Readiness in the Face of Climate Change: Amplifying Community Voices in the Inland Empire

March 1 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Building Future Readiness in the Face of Climate Change

Join Institute for the Future and Arts Connection for a community workshop.

Have you or your community faced rising temperatures, wildfires, drought, pollution, or other unexpected challenges?

Arts Connection is partnering with the Institute for the Future (IFTF) for a full-day workshop at the Garcia Center for the Arts to support the development of California’s 5th Climate Change Assessment.

This full-day workshop is a chance to share your story, connect with others, and help shape a stronger, more resilient future for the Inland Empire.

In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Share your experiences and how you’re navigating today’s challenges.
  • Imagine future possibilities and explore how we can prepare for what’s ahead.
  • Collaborate with others to create new ideas and solutions for a more resilient future.

We’ll provide lunch, childcare, and an honorarium for participants. This workshop will be in English and Spanish.

Why Attend? Your story matters. By sharing your experiences and ideas, you’ll help California better understand how communities are coping with climate change—and what we can do to build a more prepared and hopeful future together.
