The Equity Imperative: A Call for Allyship

Join the Diversity in Leadership Institute (DLI) and the Charting the Course to Equity Coalition (CCEC) for a special action virtual convening around racial equity, education leadership in TK-12/higher education, and the current political moment. Here’s what you can expect from the event:

• Keynote address on the state of racial equity in TK-12/higher education by Dr. Jaleel Howard, UCLA researcher, educator, and author of the recently published article, ‘We Want to Be Seen, Not Surveilled: Black Students
• Telling Their Side of the Story.’
• Interactive breakout sessions where participants will examine racial equity through the lens of their own work.
• Legislative overview and call to action in support of the Diverse Education Leaders Pipeline Initiative (DELPI) California state grant program.
