In Loving Memory of Amy Herr
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Amy Herr on November 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Amy fought valiantly against Multiforme Glioblastoma, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Amy was a cherished member of the IECC family and a fierce leader for the Boys and Girls Club of San Gorgonio Pass. She made a profound difference in countless lives and touched the hearts and spirits of everyone she encountered. Amy’s advocacy for those in need was unparalleled, and her dedication to her family, especially her husband Joe and her children, was her superpower.
Her bright and beautiful spirit made every endeavor an adventure worth being a part of. Amy will be remembered not only for her tireless work on behalf of her kiddos but also as a beacon for what is possible to accomplish in the nonprofit community. This year’s 10th Annual Navidad En El Barrio Food Drive was dedicated to Amy, recognizing her and her husband’s unwavering support. For the last several years they have been instrumental in ensuring that thousands of families receive food baskets throughout the holiday season in the IE by donating the transport truck and driver to pick up donated food in Los Angeles.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Boys & Girls Club of San Gorgonio Pass in Amy’s honor. To make your donation, click here.
Your presence would be a comfort to her family as we honor and remember a life well-lived.
