Connecting Communities Webinar

February 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Connecting Communities

During the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021 the U.S. Department of Treasury deployed over $46 billion to support housing stability. Community-based organizations (CBOs) across the country played a key role to help ensure the funding reached households that needed it most. The infrastructure these organizations set up to deploy these funds took many different forms. In the next Connecting Communities webinar, Building Capacity of Community-Based Organizations: Lessons Learned from the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, Elizabeth Kneebone, SF Fed assistant vice president of community development research, and other experts will shed light on innovative strategies employed by CBOs, examine what made these approaches successful, and share learnings around strategies to build and expand local CBO capacity.Join us to gain valuable insights into guiding principles for effectively dispersing funding to underserved communities and strengthening the capacity of CBOs.
